This radio is a pretty cheap radio that you can find in any store that specializes in selling cheap stuff. While it sounds decent on FM, it sounds pretty bad on AM, and Shortwave isn't much better. Despite this radio having an analog tuning knob, it uses a digital tuner. This results in poor selectivity, and makes it somewhat hard to tune in a station. If you need a decent radio for AM/FM, the Sony ICF-P27 is about the same price, is truly analog, and is a lot better.
