This is definitely the oldest radio in my collection. Manufactured during the same year the United States got involved in World War II, this radio could have delivered the news of the Pearl Harbor attacks to a family back in the 1940's. While my unit needs some signifigant repair, it does power on, and I have been able to get it to tune into a station. From what I can tell, sound quality is pretty good, and reception is likely pretty good as well. I'm happy to have this radio as a part of my collection, and I hope to give it the attention it needs one day.
